The Path That Led Us Here
As the end of Jordan’s maternity leave approached, we had to figure something out.
The daily realities of a newborn and an 18-month-old in early covid had changed everything for us, including Scott taking a temporarily reduced role at the startup he had joined less than two months earlier. With reliable daycare months away, we assessed our situation and decided to accelerate what had been a future ambition.
Scott would resign, providing some stability around the house. Jordan would focus on maximizing her six+ year chapter at Salesloft. With our remaining (and slowly increasing) bandwidth, we’d build Arogeti Endeavors.
Inspired by the late columnist Charles Krauthammer (quote below), Arogeti Endeavors is our structure through which we advise, invest in, and help build startups—all while prioritizing a sense of control over our time.
We announced partnerships with our first two endeavors in the summer of 2020 and have steadily grown as the right opportunities have come together.
In the spring of ‘22, and shortly after Salesloft’s acquisition, Jordan joined Scott full time.
